Pickleball is more than a sport—it’s a fun, accessible way for kids to learn essential life skills while staying active. At our OV Community Center sessions, your child will:

• Build Character: Learn respect, confidence, and resilience in a supportive environment.

• Practice Teamwork: Communicate, collaborate, and celebrate with others on and off the court.

• Gain Conflict Resolution Skills: Handle disagreements with positivity and respect.

• Develop Discipline: Strengthen focus, determination, and follow-through.

All sessions are led by IVP-cleared, SafeSport-informed coaches who understand youth development.

• Who: Kids in grades K–8 (beginners welcome)

• When: Mondays 3:00–4:00 PM and/or 4:00–5:00 PM

• Where: Oro Valley Community & Recreation Center,

• Equipment: All paddles, balls, and gear provided—just bring sneakers and water

• Cost: $60 Per Month (4 x 1-hour sessions)

Registration is simple—just sign up through the Community Center’s website. Your child will attend one session per week, following the school-year schedule. We provide all the equipment, so there’s nothing extra to buy, and kids are grouped by age and ability to ensure safe, skill-matched, and fun play every time.

What to Expect

Each week includes:

• Warm-up activities to get kids moving

• Skill drills tailored to their age and ability

• Fun games and doubles matches

• A closing “team huddle” to reinforce a life skill theme for the week

Safety First

Your child’s safety and well-being are our top priorities:

• Coaches pass IVP fingerprint clearance and background checks

• All staff trained in SafeSport best practices

• Secure check-in/out with parent ID required at pick-up
